We each have a team of guardian angels or spiritual helpers. They have been called many names: Spiritual Helpers, Spirit Guides, Holy Spirit, Guardian Angels, Inner Guidance, the Higher Self, Messengers of God. Whatever you wish to call them, they are crystal clear spirit or pure soul.

Their purpose is to help us accomplish our life purpose while we are on Planet Earth. They give us inspiration, insights, and reassurance. Angels have also been described as “beings of pure white light.” Your angels (or helpers) are like very wise children.

The great prophets were hunting for symbols to explain this Messenger-of-God phenomenon. They looked for something that moves through the air. They studied all the birds until they found one that never moves from one place to another until it has found its direction. This bird was a dove. This is why the dove is an important religious symbol.

They needed a symbol for purity, something that was not corrupted, so they selected the image of a child. They took the wings of the dove and put them on the child to represent a Messenger of God. When they translated the Old Hebrew Testament into Greek, these words became angel.

The prophets knew the angels communicated with people through an area on the head where the pineal gland is located. This is the reason why the people in some religious groups shave their heads or shave a bald spot on the back of their heads. They feel it will intensify their communication. The pineal gland is located on top of the spinal cord, underneath the brain and is a very important gland when it comes to the relationship of the soul and the physical body.

Until recently, only the mystic was thought to have the power of communication with Spirit. Now with radio, television, books, newspapers, films, etc., we are more exposed to what was formerly thought of as phenomena. It is no longer phenomena, but the common experience of all people. The word psychic comes from the Greek word psyche, which means breath of God. We are all psychic; it is simply a matter of unfolding what we already have.

Most people have one or two angels to guide them. When a person has more than two, it means that what he chose to accomplish here on earth has a great deal to do with people. A person needs more help when he works directly with people.
